Merrillville, IN (August 2, 2011) Cimcor a leader in the development of innovative IT security, integrity and compliance solutions for corporate, government and military initiatives worldwide, today announced the release of the latest version of CimTrak.
With this release Cimcor introduces integration with NitroSecurity's NitroView ESM, a leading SIEM solution. CimTrak leverages Nitro's NPP protocol to transmit events and log information, detected by CimTrak Agents, to the Nitroview ESM at extremely high-speeds. The power of NitroView ESM lies in its ability to quickly correlate and analyze vast amounts of information from a multitude of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and many other network devices.
"CimTrak's deep insight of servers and other endpoints provides a new world of information for the SIEM and ultimately provides better actionable intelligence for decision makers," said Robert E. Johnson III, President and CEO of Cimcor. "This combination can also help streamline compliance reporting, while improving an organization's security posture in the process."
This latest iteration of the CimTrak Integrity Suite also contains a number of performance enhancements and feature upgrades, most notably monitoring of Directory Services and VMware Hypervisors. Support for Directory Services allows administrators to monitor their Active Directory and LDAP environments for unexpected changes such as account privilege escalation or the creation of a new admin account. It gives organizations the capability to monitor potentially dangerous changes to objects, attributes and schemas that could otherwise go unnoticed.
With virtualized systems becoming more prevalent every day, the need to protect these business critical systems becomes even more important. The CimTrak VMware ESX Configuration Monitor takes monitoring of VMware ESX and ESXi hosts to a level not available in other solutions by monitoring the configurations of the VMware Hypervisor directly at the source. CimTrak captures the critical configuration data files from the Hypervisor host, which allows complete analysis of the VMware Hypervisor as well as the host operating system running the Hypervisor. With monitoring for both the host platform and the virtual servers, CimTrak provides total insight into the state of the virtual environment
Cimcor pioneered file integrity monitoring technology for servers and has expanded its product lineup to include support for a wide range of IT infrastructure including network devices, databases, Active Directory, and VMware. CimTrak software keeps organizations valuable data secure and ensures compliance with directives such as PCI-DSS, which specifically mandate file integrity monitoring. With advanced technology that allows instant remediation of changes, CimTrak provides integrity that goes far beyond simple logging and alerting.
