Recognition Validates Security and Integrity Firm’s Experience in Deploying Military-Grade Solutions
Merrillville, IN (August 29, 2011) Cimcor (www.cimcor.com), a leader in the development of innovative security, compliance, and integrity software solutions for military, government, and corporate initiatives, announced that its CimTrak software solution has been added to the Department of Defense Unified Capabilities Approved Products List (UC APL).
The DoD UC APL was created to streamline the adoption of critical technologies across all branches of the military. It eliminates the need for each branch to conduct its own validation testing and certification. The DoD UC APL’s objective “is to maintain a single consolidated list of products that have completed Interoperability (IO) and Information Assurance (IA) certification.” Once products receive their certification they are listed on the APL and approved for use across all DoD networks.
"The inclusion of CimTrak on the DoD UC APL puts us in an elite group of security products,” said Robert E. Johnson, III, President and CEO of Cimcor, Inc. “It requires a significant commitment and further demonstrates our dedication to providing a robust and secure solution for all branches of our military. Today we're facing a growing number of Advanced Persistent Threats. CimTrak provides a state-of-the-art method to instantly detect these threats and self-heal those systems in the event of a cyber attack."
Prior to Cimcor’s addition to the DoD UC APL, it was awarded Common Criteria EAL4+FLR and FIPS 140-2 Level 2 Certification for meeting stringent security and cryptographic requirements. It had also undergone extensive testing by the Army and is included on the Army’s Information Assurance Approved Products List (IA-APL).
Cimcor pioneered real-time file integrity monitoring for Windows and Linux servers as well as configuration monitoring for CISCO and Juniper network devices. It has further expanded its product lineup to include configuration monitoring support for a wide range of systems including Oracle and MS SQL Server databases, Active Directory, and VMware ESX/ESXi hosts. Its many security and compliance features support Information Assurance initiatives such as DIACAP, 800-53, and FISMA.
